The Preoperative Association represents, advises and educates medical, nursing and allied health professionals across the UK involved in the care of people preparing for surgery.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic trainee anaesthetist to join the association's Board of Trustees and contribute to the association's wide-ranging activity relating to standard setting, education, and quality improvement.
The role would be suited to an ST4+ trainee with an interest in perioperative medicine and specifically preoperative assessment.
You should be able to:
- Attend 3 (currently remote) half-day board meetings annually.
- Attend and contribute to the organisation of the in-person association annual conference.
- Contribute to the association's educational and CPD activity.
This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience and evidence competencies relevant to management, leadership and education, working within a friendly and welcoming multidisciplinary national committee.
