The Preoperative Association Research & Project Grant

The Preoperative Association Research and Project Grant offers financial support to individuals or teams aiming to enhance preoperative assessment practice in the UK.

This grant is awarded up to a limit of £15,000 to cover all, or part costs, for projects in the field of preoperative medicine, including but not limited to:

• research initiatives
• travel expenses
• local practice development within preoperative assessment 

Recipients of the grant will be required to share their experiences and project outcomes at The Preoperative Association Annual National Conference, promoting shared learning and educational advancement within the field.

Applicants can be any member of the multidisciplinary team involved in preoperative assessment, including doctors, nursing staff, pharmacists, allied health professionals, and managers. Both individuals and entire teams are eligible to apply for the grant, with the number of awards granted being determined at the discretion of The Preoperative Association Board of Trustees.
