Dr Panagoda is a Consultant Anaesthetist/Intensivist at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He is the Clinical Lead for the Pre-Operative Assessment Department.
His specialist interests are in the perioperative care of high-risk/complex patients undergoing major orthopaedic surgery. His regular anaesthetic sessions are mainly in major spine surgery and sarcoma surgery.
He and his team at RNOH continue to strive to improve the perioperative care of high-risk patients, using digital solutions where applicable to aid with this.
