Individualised risk assessment before surgery can be complex, but it is one of the most important aspects of perioperative care. It allows us to plan the perioperative pathway, supports shared decision-making between us and our patients, and is a key PQIP improvement priority.

We will be joined by an expert panel of speakers who will share up-to-date research from PQIP and the wider field of perioperative care and provide actionable ways to better predict risk for the benefit of our patients.
