Dr. Amaral brings a unique perspective to perioperative cardiac management,  having initially trained as an anaesthetist before specialising in cardiology. His subsequent subspecialty training in heart failure and cardiac imaging provides him with distinct expertise in the cardiac assessment and management of patients undergoing surgery.
